現(xiàn)在在模型制作圈中逐漸出現(xiàn)一種新型的動態(tài)水模型，動態(tài)水的加入不但改變了傳統(tǒng)模型的過于靜態(tài)，更是打破了模型死水般的氣氛。

其實動態(tài)水沙盤模型主要分為兩個系統(tǒng)部分

一、流水燈光控制系統(tǒng)，燈光系統(tǒng)是控制營造水流的燈光?？梢酝ㄟ^彩燈的控制，是有兩個電子開 光開控制似水流的燈光，利用點位控制器來控制閃爍頻率，從而形成彩色水流閃光效果。還有就是利用可編程式控制器，通過內(nèi)置單片機(jī)來實現(xiàn)控制，可以通過預(yù)先設(shè)計好的編程來控制燈光。更是燈光多點控制，為水流增加色彩生動，從而營造美輪美奐的效果。

二、水循環(huán)系統(tǒng)，沙盤模型水循環(huán)系統(tǒng)部件包括有：上下水管、防水通道、水池、潛水泵、河流等等。

要實現(xiàn)水循環(huán)系統(tǒng)先要做好河道或者水池的工作，水池（河道）的區(qū)域容器可用防水膠做防水工作。然后在水池（河道）安裝下水道，不過安裝下水道的時候要為下水道做好隱藏工作，可以在安裝在水池地下或者在假山內(nèi)部安裝。如果供水壓力過大，可以在出水管口做適當(dāng)?shù)膿跛ぷ?，避免水射程過遠(yuǎn)。也可以利用出水口的山石制作泉涌、疊水或者瀑布效果，如果要制作噴泉效果，亦可使用醫(yī)用針頭鏈接出水口，從而達(dá)到各種噴泉效果。

這些都是沙盤模型水動態(tài)系統(tǒng)的基礎(chǔ)，如果希望水體顯得更加真是，可在水面加上白啦營造浪花或者排浪。為了能夠增加各種生動性，亦可在水面放置各種假山、橋梁、船只、島嶼等等，也可在島嶼或假山下制造倒像或者噴各種雜色。這些效果都可以根據(jù)客戶需要而去增加，能夠讓模型添加更過動態(tài)效果。
