因為非正規(guī)廠家生產(chǎn)的模型產(chǎn)品未經(jīng)航空公司、飛機制作廠授權(quán)，而是通過偽造正規(guī)廠家產(chǎn)品，或許通過互聯(lián)網(wǎng)上搜集的一些飛機圖片生產(chǎn)而成，因而模型的仿真程度相對較差、比例失調(diào)。正規(guī)廠家則是依據(jù)航空公司、飛機制作廠所供給圖紙生產(chǎn)模型。

正規(guī)生產(chǎn)廠家為 產(chǎn)品的品質(zhì)，在模型生產(chǎn)中所選用的都是價錢較貴的高等涂料，因而這種模型即便長時間存放也不容易涌現(xiàn)變黃、褪色等景象；而小企業(yè)以及非正規(guī)企業(yè)為了降低生產(chǎn)本錢則選用價錢低廉的涂料，這種涂料生產(chǎn)出來的模型剛開始與大廠家生產(chǎn)出來基礎(chǔ)無異，然而短則半年長則一年就會逐步涌現(xiàn)變黃、褪色的狀況，這也是為什么一些廠家能把價錢壓得更低的原因之一。

小模型生產(chǎn)企業(yè)機非正規(guī)范圍型生產(chǎn)工藝的限制，以及為勤儉本錢而選用較差的材料的原因，他們所產(chǎn)生出來模型的機翼，發(fā)起機等部件咋運輸途中十分容易斷裂、脫離。這種損失率在成批的貨物運輸中可能相對較小，然而關(guān)于少量貨物的快遞運輸中這種損失率有時甚于高達(dá)百分之七十以上。
